Welcome to the online home of the Montclair Firefighter’s Mutual Benevolent Association. We are affiliated with the New Jersey Mutual Benevolent Association as Local #20.
Montclair FMBA Local 20 provides career fire protection for the residents and businesses of Montclair and Glen Ridge, New Jersey. Our Members are always on duty, and we have been sworn to protect Montclair and Glen Ridge, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We are ready and able to respond to fire, and rescue emergencies, as well as provide special assistance when needed. We conduct fire prevention education classes and perform fire safety inspections. We are trained in firefighting, first aid, CPR, AED, and specialized rescue disciplines. However, our dedication and commitment go beyond our duties as firefighters.
We participate in community events, support local organizations, and donate funds to support charities in our area and beyond. We always strive to maintain a positive public presence in the Montclair and Glen Ridge communities.
